I use them to watch changes in weather/ density altitude, learn how much your car changes accordingly. I don't rely on the e.t. prediction feature because if one bad run is entered it will screw the predictions up.

The Performaire Eclipse will filter the bad runs and you can delete them. I am not saying that the prediction is dead accurate but it gives you a good guideline, just another tool.

What if you don't enter a bad run?
A bad run could be trans temps are high from hot lapping or getting in water from the exhaust of a street car that ran before you causing you to lose a number in your 60 ft.
Doesn't have to be an obvious "bad run" where the car is running on 7 cylinders. Maybe you didn't even catch why u lost a number or two but when that run is entered it's now used for future prediction.
