Few changes and few problems

Made a few changes over the break and also brought a few problems.

Swapped mild 222/224 cam to a 242/248 aggressive cam, replaced stock rear end to a 12 bolt 4.88 and pulled out a good 100lbs in weight.

Good air it ran 7.30s and this weekend after the changes the best was 7.07. It's better in et but the 60ft stayed exactly the same. Couple other issues we noticed the abs light has been on since the rear end swap. In the burn out the line lock won't hold, staging it will roll after 2400rpm (before 2800) and it did vary in et quite a bit in one day.

Just thinking out loud.

What are you 60'ing? With 4.88 that baby ought to shoot outta there. And on the rear end I not very familiar but it's something about the abs plugs I believe.

The 3 days I ran it cut 1.60ft same as it did with the factory gears and 1 run it went 1.57. Far as the abs I pulled the sensors out behind the rear wheels and cleant them off but the light is still on.

If your front tires are different sizes than your rears, it will throw an ABS light. Size being the diameter, not width.

They are skinnies in front and 28/10 in rear. But with factory 10 bolt the abs never came on unless I unplugged it.

If the fronts are 26's and the rears are 28's the ABS light is going to come on.
I'm assuming you're automatic. What is your stall.

Don't know what to tell you man. As SOON as I put 28's on the back of my car, it tripped that ABS light within 5 minutes of driving. That is your problem.
