Default What RPM's should I start off at

With my new mods what RPM's should I dump at?

Mods
Moser 12 bolt 3.73.gears
3 1/2 aluminum drive shaft
Stealth Tq Arm
Rear/Front Hal shocks
short belt
dynabatt battery
cartek clutch
running on et-streets
skinnies
LS1 -Edit (picked up a few more HP/TQ

I am going to remove a few more pounds from the car. EGR and the airpump. the last time I ran my 11.81 @ 119 on nitto's and skinnies up front all I had out of the car was the spare and passenger/rear seats. But I was running 4.10 gears at the time now I have 3.73's in the car untill I get some money for 4.10's What improvements should I expect and what RPM's would be good to start at on a well prep track

thanks
Pete

14 psi (hot psi) in those ET Streets, and a 6K rpm dump should be just fine.

This will depend on traction. Find the highest rpm you can dump from that will not bog the motor or spin the tires.

I'm guessing you haven't tried dumping an M6 from high rpm yet since your old times were on Nittos.

Get ready for some REAL fun!

Tony

I made a few hard Launches in Big Mikes car . But we were at a bad prep track and traction was not the best. I was letting her fly at about 5000 rpm's on et-streets. Your right Tony I am ready to have some fun
