1.4x 60's possible consistantly? hmmmmm, I don't know about consistantly, but it might be possible to get that kind of 60' out of the car with the way it leaves now. The power is there.
Depends on the track condition mainly,
but given more seat time, and with a great hooking track like it was at HRP friday night, and some more tweaking on the pcm tune & on the shock settings, yeah I think that could happen. I can also remove the exhaust and the passenger seat and save another 72 lbs or so.
Why dry sump?
Because it was available for the LS1's, need I say more?

OK Tony, I'll keep my mouth shut. LOL

I think the 4.56s are a good idea. If you don't want to go that far, the 4:30s aren't a bad idea as well. Since you have 4:10s now, you just soon try the 4.56s out. I would highly consider a set of 28" ET DRAGS or Hoosiers if you are looking for low 1.5s/high 1.4s consitantly. The 28" tires will make the car more consitant and add some extra hook. This was the route I was going to take awhile back.

Tony, do you have a recent dyno sheet to see what your car is doing after 6600rpms?

I still think the 28" tires are the key to getting any consistant 60-foot times. Thats why I'm staying with them...just need to get them on 10" wide rims to help my footprint out

Man.... .680 lift thats some serious valve action. But your cam duration and LSA are right in the neighborhood of what I'm looking at. How does it idle with that bumpstick????

Dayum! And I thought my mods list was big. Your car is badass as usual, that seems like one hell of a motor build up. Makes mine look kinda simple haha.

Was the dry sump setup just for peace of mind?

Do you think 1.4X 60' times will be possible (consistently) with more seat time on a good track?

4.56 gears.... hmmm..... I wonder if I could get away with those. Where is Joe Kizzire at? If I shift at 6600 and am crossing around 6600 with my 4.10s and 26.4" tall slicks, would I ET better with those gears and crossing at 7K?

Fireball,
The idle is fairly rough with a good hit to it, but the car drives easier on the street now then my previous 226 hyd cam did.

Go figure...
