Default where to get those VW tires for skinnies?

where are you guys buying those VW tires. i would like to pick up a pair when i buy my draglites. what size are you mounting on the 15x3.5
anybody weigh this combo yet?

Common tire, just about everybody has 'em in stock. Got mine from Les Schwab $38 ea.

If I had to do it again, I'd buy some lighter front tires. I bought 165-15's from Big 0 for ~$40 ea, but they are heavier than I thought they would be. If you've got some coin, get some Moroso's or something else that is light.

yea those moroso tires definetly arent cheap but only like 10lbs

I had the Monarch 165/15's on my Pro Stars on my T/A, and I bought 'em from Discount Tire for $38/each. A local place (and board member) called Lane's in Irving has a set of tires for $24.50/each that I'm gonna mount on my Convo Pros tomorrow.

I got mine from Sears last week. They were $25 each for the Gardsman 40K mile tire.
