Default 1/4 mile speed

I know that this isnt perfect but for now its the best I can do to get an estimated quarted mile. First I marked off a 1/4 mile from a light pole to another point and marked it. I then started at the mark and went to the light post where I seen my speed. Like I said I know this isnt very accurate but i was going 107. Is there any way I can estimate my time? The closest 1/4 track is 100 miles away so for now im just curious.

I also tried to use the gps to catch my speed and time at the point of 1/4 mile but it wasnt accurate b/c the gps lags behind you when you accelerate fast.

You will just have to travel the 100 miles to find out what it will do!

Its close but not accurate.. Put some money in the tank and get on the track for you first time. It will be worth it! Nothing like the jitters after your first couple of runs! After that you caught the HP disease!!

Thanks, I will proabably be getting up there in the next few weeks. I want to at least have some good tires first. Does anyone know what good tracks there are in memphis area. Birmingham is also about the same distance from me. If anyone knows of who has the better track let me know.

Your speedo or GPS isn't going to give you what your mph will be at the end of a 1/4. The mph is a calculated average of like the last 100 feet or something. So if your speedo says 107, your average will probably be like 104.

With your mods you should be right around 12.9-13.1 area. Depends on how good you launch and also what gears you have.
