Nhra license requirement
You get the a pilot's license style physical and make 3 runs at various speeds at the mercy of three other licensed drivers regarding following their instructions.
They sign off the application. You send money, application and physical to the NHRA.
You get a little piece of paper with a license number that you put on the tech cards from then on. They quit asking you questions from that day forward for the most part.
The sticker on the roll cage and that license makes tech so much faster.
all the info is on NHRA's website
1 intermediate 3 moderate and 2 full passes
you have to do a cockpit orientation (blind fold test)
also the physical has to be completed before your passes are made.
passes must be made as single passes . you will need 2 licensed drivers to sign your paperwork for each pass and the track offical..all slips with paper get sent to NHRA ..then its just a waiting game..
Also pass's DO NOT need to run in the same day !!
