Re: Calling all with stripper Z28's..step inside! The first time I got the car weighed I had just the jack and spare out but it had around 3/4 tank of gas,the scale read 3485 and I weigh 190lbs. The car is MUCH lighter now but I probably gain a few though

Re: Calling all with stripper Z28's..step inside! I've had my SS weigh as little as 3100 without me in it.With me in it it was 3265. Then took out carpet and console but track scale was inop. Would say approx 3050 empty and only about 2 gal.of gas still have rear bumper and wipers.

Re: Calling all with stripper Z28's..step inside! My Z weighs in at 3180lbs. without me with spare tire/jack removed,seats removed,back speakers removed and Weld draglites all the way around. I have removed the AIR pump/tubes,EGR,rear seat belts/brackets and removing the factory Amp for this weekend. I'll have a new raceweight for you then. Looking for about a 3155 to 3150 raceweight without me in the car. With me in add another 185lbs brings the car to 3340 raceweight with me in.
Now im debateing on dropping the catback off the car for the track only. hmmmmm! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: Calling all with stripper Z28's..step inside! The certificate that I have from GM says that the shipping weight was 3380. I don't know how much gas was in the car or anything else about how they weighed it though. It weighes in around 3200 right now though. I have the back seats removed, rear divider, no exhaust after the y-pipe, no front sway bar, no floor mats, no spare or jack.
