If you are going to do the weld in style brackets I would suggest, putting a piece of plate up the frame rail, and welding to that. Just makes the area a little stronger and will help prevent them from wanting to tear the factory sheet metal.

I just had to fix a car not too long ago that had the tabs welded onto just the body sheet metal and with time it ended up breaking/tearing the sheet metal.

This was not a Midwest bar but it is the same mounting design as the weld on tabs to the frame, could possibly happen with enough time.

No, there isnt that much adjustment, it's not designed to accomplish that type of correction.

After installation adjusting is very simple, if the car goes left on the launch, take some pre-load out of that passenger side link. If the car goes right at launch, add another 1/2 turn of pre-load to the passenger side link.

If you get the preload wrong youll damn sure know it. Car will track sideways under throttle.

First time adjusting it will be hit or miss. Since I did not have help I couldnt simulate driver weight. I did neutral plus a full turn on the passenger side. Car still lifted the drivers tire. Added a turn or two again on the passenger side and the car felt wrong, it went way left under throttle. It caught me off gaurd a time or two, but no more driver tire lift. Went back and pulled a half turn (shorten) and it was better, went back and pulled another half turn and it leaves straight and flat now.

I've done it by myself a few times. Step on the scale see how heavy I am that day (may of been wing night the day before) and then gather enough weight from around the house and sit it on the drivers seat. Works like a charm.

Just a heads up for those with no added help.

Wondering if you guys are willing to sell just the body side mounts, bolt in or weld in, doesn't really matter. Thanks in advance!
