Default Calling on all the great minds on LS1.com

Ok, Here is my question. Are these times about right for my mods on my 2002 Z28.

11-30-2001 Temple Dragway
Lanuch rpm 4,000, Shift point 5,800 rpm, Tire psi 12lbs rears, 40lbs. in the fronts.

60ft. 1.81
330ft. 5.32
660ft. 8.26
600ft. mph 84.96
1320ft. 12.83
1320ft mph 109.4
Reaction Time .511

Mods. Macs long, Borla, air lid, air mass, pc tuning, line lock, shift light, B&M shifter, Madman tq arm sup., 410 gears with ta cover, 28x10.5x15 slicks (mt), 26x4.5x15 front runners (mt) and weld pro stars all way way around.

So, what do you guys think?

It sure does seem that you guys are 60fting better than me. (1.6's?)

Maybe, I need to take some driving lessons.

I think you're doing ok. I had to do head, intake, and gears, (4:10) on my '95 M6 Z28 before I even saw a 12!!!!(12.50 @ 111 mph 1.85 '60) That was leaving at 5, (yes, 5) grand. I now consider myself an expert on rebuilding F-body 10 bolt rears!!!!!!!!! The Triple Oute (2000) SS auto has a few mods done to it and I got a best so far of 12.921 @ 108.77, 2.009 '60. Converter hear I cumm I've been on both sides of the track and know how challenging it is to lauch an M6 car let alone an LS1 M6 car with there finicky clutches!!! Most guys I see with minor modded M6's go low 13's. I think you're doing pretty good. The fast guys can give you a better idea though.

For an M6 w/ stock-internals running a 10-bolt, I think it's netting some pretty respectable 60' times! The guys w/ M6's pulling 1.6 60' times usually have a 9" or 12-bolt rearend. You won't get many 1.6 60' times on the 10-bolt with an M6 before you break something. Just wait until you have the 4.30's in a beefy rearend! Why are you running 28" tires at the track? That's WAY too much tire for your setup! A set of 26" tires would would give you back some effective gearing, and it wouldn't kill your MPH near as much.
Us A4 guys can cut 1.6 (or quicker) 60' times on a 10-bolt and get away with it for a while since we can preload the drivetrain and suspension.

BTW, raise your shift points to 6200-6300 and see what happens. Practice shifting VERY fast or learn to powershift (WARNING: this can be very hard on your synchros if you don't know what you're doing!)

Yup, try raising your shift rpms to just before you tag the rev limiter. Worked for me, and with your mods, you should have a higher mph if you do that.
