Default lt1 ls1 lid swap pics and question

It went well

But

My 4" thing from home depot is a bit short

Any ideas?

I used another coupler from the maf to the lid. It will bring the maf back further and helps with the angle change.

Quick question: are you using the stock hood? If so, what did you have to do to clearance for the lid? Can you post a pic?

No stock hood. I did not want to hack things up, so I ordered the standard VFN Sunoco pin-on exactly for running this lid setup, and it just clears. FYI the Sunoco bolt on will not clear, unless you get the Sunoco Wide version, *and* tell them to modify it so you can run the lid. With the pin-on, no modifications are required at all to either the hood or the upper cross member on the car.

Here is the Sunoco VFN pin-on sitting over the lid no problems:

Thank you. So I just need another 4" one and cut both a bit shorter?
