Re: anyone with muffler before axle? welcome to the board Duece. Do you still have the same car you used to (black camaro?) as for your question I know of some people putting bullet mufflers under the car but not sure If anyone has done what you are refering too.
Re: anyone with muffler before axle? I am now running 2 3" Dynomax bullets and dumps right before the axle for my dual exhaust.
I see no problem with your plan, just make sure the muffler is not near any plastic fuel lines or important lines...

hey man yeah i still got the black camaro, but there's things in the works for it. <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" /> don't know if you're still paying attention to the V6 scene at all but some crazy stuff is happening. as PSJ knows magnus ran a 14.0 N/A. i think he can hit 13.99 if he gives it one more go though. and there are a few more head and cam packages goin in people's cars. should be interesting year for the v6. as for me i figure it's about time to swap my clutch so while i'm at it might as well swap to T56 and LS1. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> got a T56 lined up and searching for a ls1.
anyway, well does anyone know what the quietest bullet muffler is? i just want a cheap quiet solution till after i swap everything.

Yeah Keith/Magnus is flying. He lives a mile from me, we help each other.
I've been telling him ever since he hit 14.3 that 13.9 is possible. He could hit high 11's on a 125 shot too if he wanted too.

Re: anyone with muffler before axle? He's gone 12.3 with a small shot of nitrous I think the car has done pretty well.
And almost 13.99 with a stock 3.8 liter is pretty cool too.

Re: anyone with muffler before axle? I have been staying "up to date" with the v6 crowd. I like to know what all is going on and what crowds are running what times and such (typical street racing attitude)
I came so close to starting to look for an LS1 and tranny to swap into my white car but luckily found my Formula and couldnt pass the deal up. Be sure to let us know how the swap is going and when you get started on it.

Re: anyone with muffler before axle? i tried to trade in my car for a formula but the gods of credit came down to smite me. guess they saw i was pretty lazy bout paying my credit cards off. whoops. oh well, getting a tranny from jordon that i'll rebuild and just keep my eye out for a cheap ls1 or maybe see if i can get a block and heads from valvegod and send it to Agostino or MTI for their treatment(again depending on the credit gods). should be fun though. never took on a big project like an engine swap, but ya know how long could it take to swap? 2-3 hours i figure. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">
