Tips on pulling bumper supports for the track?
How difficult to pull them? How much weight should i exspect to drop? Where do i start on pulling them out, pics would help?
You probably won't want to be swapping them in and out.
The front is about 23 lbs. I think the rear was about 21.
To prevent the front fascia from looking floppy you'll need to make a little support bracket.

I asked awhile back but did not get any technical info. A friend of mine is doing it, so when he shows me how I will try and get some pics.

I think it's because the explanation to this one is that you just get under there and start unboltin'. Maybe there's just not a really good explantion to give.

Yep.. it's pretty straight forward.. Just start unbolting the front end cap.

That does make alot of sense. I know it just a few bolts, but when my friend did he said he encountered some rivots that he could not get out. Any one else had that happen and how did you remove them?

Right in the center at the bottom of the nose (fascia.) The bumper support normally ties all of this together. Without it the nose may droop a bit or look floppy. Once the support is removed, what I'm talking about will be apparent.

The rivots eventually came out, but I never finished removing the supports. Maybe one weekend I'm free I'll try again. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
