They are going to be where the radio and ac used to be. I am not using any of the factory interior pieces though. I plan to make my own.

Good stuff here. Out of curiosity, why go with the rim sizes you did if it's a dedicated drag car? Why not go with 15's in the rear?

I was wondering since it was such a long and skinny display where it would end up, seems like something you would see in a concept vehicle. look forward to seeing it installed

I just like the wheel setup. I want it to look streetish for now. I still have the same sidewall as I did with the 15x26 tires but I have a taller tire now. I like the way it looks with the bigger wheels. I can throw some 15s on it if I need to. Right now I'm only shooting for consistent mid 6 1/8 mile but I could always go to something else if needed but I was running low 7s before and it was pretty good with the same sidewall 15s.

thanks. I am playing around with color touch screens but I haven't had time to really see what I can do with them but they don't cost much for just the screens and I can print the bezel and I can make the display look exactly the way I want.

yeah Im wanting to do something different with mine. I did a set of stewart warner gauges when I did my build but they a little to old school I think. Wanting to do something simple and clean. to OLED largeish screens and just a tach in the middle. Use the screens for the rest of the guages.

she sounds good!

It seams fine, but I'm not a body man. I may or may not use that bumper. I broke the one I had on it when a strap broke and the car rolled off the trailer on the way to the chassis shop. I had to get a new one fast so I just ordered the cheapest one I could find and figured I would worry about that when the time comes. I just needed one for fitting the brackets that holds the front together.

I am currently throwing together the wiring. I'm not really permanently doing the rest of the wiring until I get it all hooked up and see what I want to go where. So I am just twisting and taping and have a little mess of wires starting. Later I will make it neat and put nice connectors on everything. I want to take the car to the track soon and run it and finalize incase anything else needs welding before I pull the engine and everything back out so I can get the cowl welded up and paint the chassis.

I have the front lip on there and I want to put something on the rockers but I don't like the big camaro ground effects on the sides. I bought a firebird ground effect to see how it looks and that is what I am looking for but the firebird ground effect does not work with the fender part. The back all the way to the front of the door until you get the the front of the fend works but the corner is sharp on the firebird and the Camaro is rounded at the front of the fender. I think I am going to cut it off at the line where the front of the door is and get the body shop to mode it into the fender in the front and have it come off with the front clip. I like the way these don't really look like ground effects so much, but the kind just square off the bottom of the rocker instead of rolling around like camaro rockers do. Not sure if any of that made sense without pics. I'll try to get some pics of it.

I had those ground effects on my bird until I converted to a TA sideskirts. I know what you are getting at. I always thought the fbody benefited from having a bit more ...body on the rocker panel rather than that gentle roll back underneath the car. Id be curious to see how that pans out on the camaro body. did you get the section that goes on the door as well or just the rocker extension?
