Please help me get more weight out of this car
I have a 98 camaro with chromoly k member, upper and lower control arms, chromoly drop spindles, front and rear strange brakes, mwc 9", front and rear coilovers, no front bumper support, manual rack, manual master cylinder, no rear seat, no spare, no padding under carpet, corbeau racing seats, no cage, drag wheels, no ac, remote water pump, no heat, and car is around 2950 which still seems heavy to me without me in it.
What else can I do other than:
Lexan front and rear
Light weight hatch

Sound pretty light to me for a f body. Rear hatch and lexan will net you around 80-100lbs? That's 2850ish. Gonna have to dig deep to get more out. Maybe door bar delete or those sweet 6le carbon fiber doors. All kinds of brackets, shields, undercoat etc can come out if you haven't already rid them

Is the car a t-top body? If so my carbon roof will drop a possible 80 pounds. The Optic Armor front and rear itself is a 50 pound drop.
Extreme weight reduction is possible, I can do 2300 pound rollers with the right combo. You get past a certain point(and you are very close) and the weight reduction becomes very costly.

I realized you've covered quite a bit already but Ive got some weight reduction info in this thread that you may be interested in. I'm at 3040 currently with full factory interior, 18" wheels and nothing hole sawed. Ive done some unique things like only running one fan, weighing different torque arms, cutting the spare tire tub, cutting the lower radiator support etc.

Lexan windows, cutting out the rear seat brackets and seatbelt brackets if you haven't done so. Getting a heat gun out and scraping out the excess seam sealer,
If you plan on putting in a cage you you can pull the door pars and trim the front fender rails. theres some metal you can trim in the bay too. As MWC said you can go to their carbon roof and cut some weight out. Also do minitubs and cut out the top wells.
You're basically at the point where the weight reduction is going to start costing some coin

What kind of exhaust system? Always some weight to lose there, did you take the door bars out? I assume you removed all the park brake and handle and cables? Pin on you could have lost some weight, I removed the hinges and latch and cable and those hinges were heavy.

Yea Studderin said he lost a decent amount going pin on. I'm gonna cut my cowl too.
You could go to a nice merge y pipe and run a race muffler right off of it and drop some decent weight from no CB. Most likely what I'll do If I never go turbo.
Cutting those fender aprons are easy but only save you 5-10lbs, in the end it all adds up.

I went with a bolt on flat vfn hood. It was right at 20lbs lighter than the stock hood. Didn't go with a pin on since everyone I talked to that had one said it was a nightmare. Maybe one day if I go full race car.

So I'm doing all the free **** I can do right now. Just gotta find someone that can weld up the holes once I'm done.
Everything listed here will remove quite a bit of weight. I'm just gonna use a bluetooth speaker for my phone when I want to listen to music in my car.
