Need help regarding tires--->
You guys have me worried. I just bought 26x10x15's. Guess I could always sell them if they don't work and go with 28's.

If you talking ET Drags... Those are going to be W I D E.
I could believe the difference in a 26x10.5 ET Street & Drag. The ET Streets is closer to the size of a 8" ET Drag.

The ET Drag's measurement is actual tread, while the ET Street's is a measurement of the sidewall...
My 28x10.5 ET Drags are pretty large...
My 26x10x15's are Hoosier Slicks. Plenty wide. I just see a lot of the big dogs going 28" and worry if I should be doing the same........
Chris said 9in tires,not 10.5's
I stand corrcted on the assumption they were W's but I said MOST not all.But we have to agree on one thing,A 9in at 170+,UMMM NO....

Chris a 9in tire going 170 is rediculous.Most NSCA cars run a W tire of somekind.No one runs a 9in slick trapping 170MPH.

First, the only class i can think of that uses that small of a tire and trap speeds around that mph is SS/O in NMRA
But they use 28x10.5" tires and they ARE NOT W tires. They are true 10.5" tires.
Those cars ARE trapping well into the 170s and running high 7 second 1/4s
BUT
they also are mini-tubbed and use 12" wide rims to stretch the tire out to get the maximum patch
