Went to Houston Raceway Park today to try and redeem myself from the last time that I was there and move up on the n/a top 75 list.
(three weeks ago, blew up my 10 bolt with 4.10 gears). Last week I won the race. This week broke.

Well, 4,000 dallars later, (new Moser 12 bolt with 4.56 gears, Hal's all the way around,a aluminum drive shift, plus the install) on my first pass of the day, I blow it up again! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Embarrassed, Humiliated and PLAIN PISSED OFF, That I had to push my Hot Rod onto the trailer. <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />

I called Thunder Racing and left a message that I would be there Monday moring to get it fixed. I am sure that Thunder will do me right. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I need to race my Hot Rod SOOOOOON! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Did it break immediately upon launch? After the install, was there a LOT of gear whine when driving? This happened to Jason 98 TA w/ his Moser 12-bolt. Moser didn't set the gears up right, and he proceeded to shear quite a few teeth off of the ring and pinion.

Yes, it broke on the launch. Yes, after last weekends race it did whine more than normal but, I had it cheched out , no problems.
