I'm glad I went to this tire combo.I was worried a 9in tread would be too small but after mounting one up on a 15X8in Weld I see how it fills out better on my rim combo.The 26X10 was pinched on a 8in rim causing me to lose 1/8in of tire on each end of the slick.The best part is this new tire has 4in MORE rollout 28X9=86 VS 26X10=82......

I couldve went HOOSIER but I didnt want a true 28in tire.I want the car to trap over 6200 and I think it will with the 27.4in MT Slick.

I looked at my lower part of the cladding on my T/A and if its close all I have to do is use a block of wood and a soft mallet to fix it.

I'm ready to race...

Glad to hear you went with the 28x9 slicks... They should work out well for you.

I was checking out the 30x9" tired S/E cars at the Gatornationals last weekend. Now I'm wanting some 30" meats for my car! I'm going to cut/reshape my rear bumper for a little extra clearance in the rear, instead of just tying the bumper cover back with a zip-tie like I had it before....
