Looking around there appears to be M00 and SA00 rated helmets. Which one can I use. I'm thinking the M00 is for bikes but looks like they would work equally well for drag racing. For the record, my local track has no safety checks but I want one for precautions and in case I start traveling around and racing at some differnt tracks.
One more thing......how many of you use a driveshaft loop?? I did on my stangs but I don't realy see anywhere for the driveshaft to fall
Thanks guys.

it was snell 85 out here, but now its snell 90
this is for IHRA tracks also... we need a loop at 12.99 and under, cage at 11.49 and under
i got the BMR loop, but it wouldnt fit.. so i just took the top loop off and just ran the bottom brace... i figure that would catch it atleast if it drops..

Get a Snell 2000 and you will be good on any track for at least a couple of years.

NHRA tracks require a driveshaft loop at 13.99 or with racing slicks. If you are running a stock or mostly stock appearing car with street tires, most tracks won't look for it, although i have been given the once-over at 2 tracks, and was glad i had it!
