Default Race seat that sits lower then stock

I almost pulled the trigger on a Corbeau Fx1 but didn't after reading that people are complaining that it sits higher then stock with their brackets . I need something that's more comfortable a Kirkey , little lower then stock and will work with an 8 pt cage . Not looking at paying $700+ for a seat neither

Punch in racing seats on Ebay. That's where we got ours, and they are pretty nice. It was like 200 for the pair. Tons to choose from. They sit real low. We cut the rivets off the old sliders, and they bolted right to the new sliders, that came with the seats. Which allowed them to bolt right in. Didn't try those adapter brackets. Was afraid it would sit the seat too high. But I'm 6'4.

Kirkey on the floor, that's as low as you're going to get. Anything else is going to sit higher.

My kirkey pro drags even with the racecraft brackets sat really low. I've got them mounted as high and forward as possible but I'm a short bastard. They're very comfortable in my opinion. I drive my car 3 hours one way to the track occasionally and they don't bother me at all.

Maybe I just went all the way up? I remember having it as high as I could get it plus I put washers under the brackets lol. Still have trouble seeing over the hood. Everybody complains about how far up I've got it. Most of my buddies have to take out the t top to get in it. I'm only 5,8-5,9.

The kirkey with a cover is comfortable. Stop whining.

Kirkey and built custom brackets to sit the seats as low as possible. I am 6'3, so I wanted the room for my head/helmet without hitting the halo.

Same thing I did, essentially put tabs on the 25.3 structure right on the floor. Can't put it any lower.
