Re: Video Larry S vs Track wall. Larry, your A Driving ****, If you watch the video closely you can tell you sideways driving it and then all of a sudden you Spun around.
In my Mustang racing years that amost happend to me once, It happend to a few buddies, track wasnt prepped up top making good hp and getting out of the groove, As soon as your outta the slick spot and 1 tire hooks forget it your done for, Thats why i can see happening. What tire combo were you running and what tire pressures as well?

I have sold the Mustang. It could have been repaired but I wasn't going to take another chance with my life. I feel it was to high off the ground and with that strong head wind it started lifting. Once it started lifting the tires broke loose. Were my car a hatch back or GT with the wing I may not have had the problem.
I had Hooker 28 x 10 slicks in the back and tiny Moroso skinnies up front.
I felt it was getting away about the 1000' foot mark or a little before but don't know for sure. I hit the lights at 92 mph and ran a 10.956 sideways. At the 1/8 I was going 102.81 with a 6.513 et to Larry Cs 104.52 mph and 6.622 et. He was catching me with that big 422! We will never know who would have won. Actually he won though at the line. I redlighted!
