Video Larry S vs Track wall.
Might make some of us that do the "run without necessary safety equip until they boot us" thing ( and believe me I use to be just as guilty as anybody else )...think twice.
I'm damn glad I got my cage/harness installed now.
Anyways here it is. Its a little lower quality to cut-down on bandwidth, and in .wmv format (windows media player). 1 meg in size. Please..."right click" on the link , and "save target as"...to your computer. It will cut down on the bandwidth usage...if its too high I'll have to pull it offline. Thanks
Due to lots of request I put the video back online. here ya go.

Glad Larry is okay! Oh yeah, nice commentary from Sr. Cato <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

The Old Fox body mustangs are real light in the rear and I remember my 5.0 cars getting squirley at times on the topend.
The suspension on those cars has to be real solid, especially the lower control arm torque boxes.
Glad Your OK Larry.

If this video will encourage anybody else to get their roll bar installed, a good seat belt and all necessary safety equipment, then my sacrifice was not in vain. I am very fortunate to not have been hurt. I don't know yet how the car kept from rolling over. I have a good roll bar but who knows what would have happened.
My Camaro is staying as heavy as it is now. No more weight removal for it. My Mustang weighed 2436 with me in it that night. Maybe too light without special suspension? I really don't know what caused my car to start swerving. Perhaps a combination of too light, poor suspension, poor alignment due to no caster adjustment on Mustangs, strong head wind, this much speed and power and maybe even something on the track. What ever it was I will not take another chance with this car.

I would have **** my pants!!
I lost my old 95 similar to that but on the 3-4 shift. Had too little air in the slicks and went sideways. Had a bit more room bewtween the track and the wall and caught the slide just in time.
Great driving, glad to see your ok!!
Chris
