Default Damn thing won't 60 foot, wheel hop issues

Car is an 02 six speed formula.

275/60/15 Nitto 555r 15psi
New founders; Lca, phb, adjustable torque arm
Lake wood 50/50's
Moser 9 inch 4:11 spool with relocation brackets
Ls7 clutch

Tried everything today. Was pulling through the water, doing a 5 second or so 1st gear burn out. Every time I rolled out of the box and let out of the throttle ( riding the burn out out ) the car would just start to wheel hop as I let out of it.

I tried everything from 3-5k Rpms side stepping the clutch and it would either spin, bog, or wheel hop everywhere... Only thing I didn't try now as I'm home wishing I would have was leave softer.

Short times ranged from 2.0-2.5 car mph'ed at 107 all day, best et was a 13.2. I'm headed back out next Friday and wanna try and get her into the 12's on motor before I use the nitrous.

I wouldn't expect great short times with your current tires. Your best bet with your current set up is to ride the clutch a good bit instead of side stepping it. I can't comment on your wheel hop issues after the water box though.

Sounds like you need some good shocks and the right springs for a start. Also leave easier for now until you figure it out with suspension. Also the tires aren't helping you.

Hmmm, I see guys on her cutting 1.8's with 17 inch Nittos idk why I couldn't get a 15 inch Nitto to do at least that. I'm going to check my pinion angle here this week and try leaving softer next week.

I was able to cut 1.79 on nittos with an a4 I had a little more pressure in the tire I think about 18psi. It took a long burn out to get the nittos to work they need to be hot. Also are your lca in the lowest hole I hear that is the best for controlling wheel hop.

Is your torque arm still mounted to the transmission? Is the car lowered? What hole are the LCA's in on the relo brackets?

There's a few things we could work on to get you consistent and pick up some better et's. The fastest GM 6 speed car relies on MWC rearend and full suspension, we can sure get you hooked up!

Wheel hop on a radial normally means it needs more pressure.

Also how did you set pinion angle? Are the control arms poly/poly?
