Default Tire size, 410 gear 450+ rwhp m6 ?

I was wondering if I would run out of gear with 26x 10 bias ply slicks? I have 410s m6 and 450rwhp + 100 shot so maybe around 550rwhp. I would go 28's but I really don't want to cut anything and my other option was 28x9x15 mt et drags which are only 27.3 inches but not sure about those on a 10 inch rim or if they would even hook being so narrow? I just want some ting I know will fit 100%

What tire are you running now? I'm about 450 rwhp n/a, and 600 rwhp on the 150 shot with 4.10's on a M6

MT3055S is probably the best for your application.

What size were the wheels? How wide? 15x10's?

With 4.10 gear, you definitely need 28's.
BFH mods are not that bad. You can always spray a little chassis paint after, you won't even notice it.

I think you will need the 28's. 26's @7000 put you alittle over 130mph
28's @7000 will get you close to 145mph

Piggy backing on this thread. I'm in the same situation as the OP. Same gear and power. I am going to install a kit on my car soon and would benefit from a 28in tire then, but don't want my NA performance to suffer.

M&h makes a 27x10 I was thinking about those didn't know if I'd run out of gear on the bottle with 27 or not

actually the stiff wall mt slicks measure 27 inches. I trap around 121 with that tire at about 6000 rpm. not sure how high you are revving it, but im only on 430RWHP

Hardest part is to clearance enough that it won't rub under full chassis compression, extension and tire growth. All of which are hard to cover at the same time.
