Can I fit a 29" drag radial with mini tub and 18x10.5 Dark Star wheels with C7 offset
This is on a 1998 Camaro with mini tub and offset LCA drag only car. Front is stock suspension, but all tube. Rear is stock length. I don't mind rolling fender or trimming off some of the quarter at the front as it is about to be painted anyway. I want the wheels to be tucked in more both front and back and the car lowered. I plan on doing a 2" drop spindle in the front.
I have been running 15 weld bullet hole wheels front and back. I have been wanting more tire and I would like the car to sit a little lower. I like the look of the bigger wheels and since MT has the new sizes in the ET Street I can now run a 18" wheel with a 29" tire. I should still have the same amount of sidewall but with the taller tire i should have more contact.
I want to bring the wheels in some. I see the Race Star C7 Wheels 92-805257DSD are 18x10.5 76mm offset / 8.75 BS. Wheel that bring the wheel in any? and will they fit?
Also I would like to bring the front in some and I want 17" skinnies.
They have the normal option 92-745242 dsd which is 17x4.5 1.75bs -25.4 offset or the 92-745245 dsd 17x4.5 2.25bs -12.0 offset c4-c5 versions. Will I have any fitmit issues with the c4-c5 version and will it be tucked in the fender more.
The rear tire I have been looking at is MT #3580
P305/45R18 29X12.50R18
Section width 11.8
Diameter29.0
Will any of this work and what will be required to make it fit the way I want it to fit?

You sure about the sidewall. This is a 28x15. I agree with StangEater. If you got enough room for a 29". Can you imagine how much sidewall you would have with a 15". We didn't roll our flange. We used a flap wheel on an angle Grinder and sanded it down. You can get it very smooth so there is no worry about sharp edges.

This is how it looks.

I was looking up this post to see what size I had bought and realized I never posted an update.
I ended up building another car using my parts. It is a 1994 Camaro. I was able to make these fit without a minitub. It did take some cutting and beating to make it work though. Here they are on the car I built for my daughter:
