Re: West Coast Shootout Results
Scott I would say u should see about 2 tenths in good air.(-500 or better DA's)U lose alittle traction and the DA drops. But if u can get to a track in the day time when the sun is out and get -DA's with light wind then u could really make a good showing.Once the Sun goes down then your back to no hooking. Its a catch 22.
I like a 40 degree weather no light wind and a BIG SUN in the sky.get that along with a prepped track and u will run 10's..
Very impressive setup u have Scott.
Keep it up.
God I wish I weigh 3200lbs

All my 11.1 stuff corrects to 10.8's at sea level... I am at 800 elevation. we do see -200 DA in like Nov but it become hard to hook since it's like high 30's.

Re: West Coast Shootout Results
Thx JS. I'm not satisfied with 3200lbs raceweight. That's WAY too heavy. I'm shooting for 3000lb raceweight eventually. Diet mods on the agenda:
Dynabatt (10 lbs more than my drycell)
Custom Torque Arm (???)
Custom Tranny Crossmember (???)
Spool possibly (20 lbs???)
Chromoly A-arms (13-16 lbs)
Carbon Fiber T-tops (15 lbs)
Lighter Carpet (7-10 lbs)
Lighter Gas Tank (???)
!Power Steering (12 lbs)
But these are the hardcore mods. It's still daily driven as it is and I LOVE it.

Re: West Coast Shootout Results
Weight reduction is too much work, I'm just going to add more power. I'll probably swap water pumps, !rear bumper, and !exhaust though.
Get any good pics of our race Scott?
