Sitting in my garage is a 4" carbon fiber cowl hood from VFN. I received it scratched up a tad, fixable.. I know others have had the same problem. I think the hood is like 17 pounds. Looks pretty bitchin too, and the only one I am aware of. I guess I am trying to be unique

The magic scale came in at 25 frickin pounds. It is usually 1-1.5 pounds off(digital). That is pretty crappy considering their is no hardware on it. A little dissapointing.

ive had my glasstek pin on lightweight hood on for several years now with no problems per-sey to speak of.
total out of pocket cost on the purchase of the hood, and paint work was 300 bucks.
