Hoosier slick 26x9x15 how do they perform?
Well i have come to the conclusion that my 26x10.5x15 ET Street are not holding the launches like they used to. Only way i can get it to cut low 1.6 to high 1.5 60fts. on them is for the track to be prep extremely well. Now i need a wider tire and sticky as well. I don't want to go to the 26x10 ET Drags becuase they are too big and will cause me to lose my top end with swelling on a 8in rim and i have found that the hoosier drag fits the size i want but i need to know if they HOOK? How do you like them?

I'm also in the process of getting some Hoosier slicks. My ET Streets have no more rubber. Still trying to decide what size I wanna go with.

I'm running the Hoosier 26x9x15 slick, and it hooks GREAT! I also run the adjustable Hal struts, and it makes for a great track combo. I managed a 1.61 60' at Texas Motorplex on a T&T night, and I consider that pretty good. My 60' times were in the 1.61-1.65 range, on average, throughout the night w/ the raceweight posted below. Like you, I didn't want to give up MPH from tire swelling. I think they'll work well with your setup.
