Default Tick Battery Relo - No Power

Not sure if this is the appropriate spot for this but..

I installed my tick battery relo kit today, everything went extremely well and no issues came up during the install. I went to start the car after and I have no power. I have my dome light and door chime, other than that I have no horn, lights, fuel pump and no crank from the starter. Did some basic troubleshooting with checking grounds and making sure the switch was functioning but can not seem to track down what the issue is. Any suggestions as to where to start?

Sounds like the stuff not working is all in the under hood fuse panel so I would double check the power wire running to that. If not that I would be looking at your grounds again.

Where did you run ground from battery? I have a modded tick kit. I've had my battery in the back for years now with no issues.

Ran it from the battery to the passenger rear seat belt post, the other two grounds go from the block to the frame rail/swaybar mount

Check that main positive wire is hooked up, but I'm a huge overkill ground kind of guy. Grounding the seat belt post then uses the steel unibody as a conductor for high correct things, and iirc steel conducts 16% what copper does, combine that with painted, rusted spot welded sheetemal trying to carry the 200 or so starter amp load, along with associated noise problems with efi, it's best to run a ground wire from the battery back to the block as the same gauge as the positive. The current has to make a loop. Some people get away with the short ground strap, I for one had issues on one of my project cars and ever since then have ran ground wires front to back with no more issues

Just to check the ground. Maybe move it to one of the bolts on the piece that the trunk latch is on. You'll see what I'm talking about once you move the carpet out of the way. It's 4 bolts there that you can try.

got it! last thing I was checking after replacing relays and ect it ended up being my ignition fuse
