Screwing the rims is unneccesary if you run the tires at like 14-17psi cold. IMO 9-10psi is far too low.
Sometimes a track will not hook at all. In that case I'll just go for MPH runs or will pack up and have a beer.
Well I ran 9 psi cold and still had trouble with BIG burnouts.
I may try 12psi hot and cook the bejesus out of them next time. I can't do much more of a burnout than what I am currently doing. I think it will hook a lot better when the temps rise. I want to be able to load the converter to 3000rpm and smash it off the line <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
