I have the powerslot rotors. They work awesome on my car for some reason

I can stall my PT4400 up to 2,900-3,000 on the line as well. The compound will definitely make a difference, and that's a great point. I made sure that the tires I ordered were the softest compound available. If not, then it defeats the purpose. That's also interesting on the battery relocation. I may have to try that out.

I would not buy different tires until you get your current setup to hook.

Screwing the rims is unneccesary if you run the tires at like 14-17psi cold. IMO 9-10psi is far too low.

Sometimes a track will not hook at all. In that case I'll just go for MPH runs or will pack up and have a beer.

Welcome to my world. If 15psi doesn't hook then 11psi should (and always has for me) hook better. The trade off is less MPH and a wobbly car at the big end. You guys who never go below 15psi have obviously never really raced in traction challenged situation.

haha Terry tell me about it
Well I ran 9 psi cold and still had trouble with BIG burnouts.
I may try 12psi hot and cook the bejesus out of them next time. I can't do much more of a burnout than what I am currently doing. I think it will hook a lot better when the temps rise. I want to be able to load the converter to 3000rpm and smash it off the line
Cheers,
Chris

What brakes do you have? I can't even go to 2500rpm before my car pushes.

I will try 13psi cold and really heat them up. They spun for me last time like that but maybe with a warmer day they will hook better

Sometimes, if I am a track with like 6-8 different staging lanes, I try to get behind the backhalf cars since if they don't hook you might see them do burnouts past the tree... I love going after pro stock cars.

yeah that is definitely true I purposely try to get behind the hooking cars
Cheers,
Chris
