th400 question

th400 question i have a th400 w a reverse valve body
when i shift from 1-2 at about 5800 it makes a clicking sound before going into gear,
if i shift around 5500-5600 its fine, its not a rev limiter cause ive ran the car clear to 6300 and never hit a limiter...
this is under heavy acceleration..
any help or anyone had the same issue
3500 stall...if that matters
