i have a th400 w a reverse valve body

when i shift from 1-2 at about 5800 it makes a clicking sound before going into gear,

if i shift around 5500-5600 its fine, its not a rev limiter cause ive ran the car clear to 6300 and never hit a limiter...

this is under heavy acceleration..

any help or anyone had the same issue

3500 stall...if that matters

 

With all the issues I have had with our turbo 400 I would say you need to take it out & have it looked at by a professional transmission builder.

 

i plan on doing that during the off season (indy we have winters) just wanted to see if anyone had an issue
