Trap Speeds
I've noticed that after checking out everyones times, that my trap speed from my frist time to the track, is kinda low. I ran a 13.79 @ 101 with a 2.0 60'. Any way to bring up my trap speed? I had about 7 passes, and that was my best, but I had constant 2.0 flat 60' foots. My mods are in my sig. Thanks.

trap speed is a indication of horspower. increase hp and trap speed will go up. now on acool day with a high barometer you will make more hp, hence increase in mph. 10 hp= 1 mph, now your et can vary a lot depending on traction and shift points, you have to vary them too see what works for you.

Your sig didn't show up
You have a 97 ws6? With those mods you should be trapping around 103-105mph I'd say at least. I know somebody with headers/intake/exhaust and a shifter trapping 104mph up at our track (which isn't the greatest).
I don't know a helluva lot about LT1's but sounds like you missing an intake to complete your basic boltons.

I have the ws6 ram air. Yeah, I've seen a lot higher trap speeds. Since my sig didn't show up. I have JBA Shorties, Borla Cat Back, Hi-Flo Cat, Hypertech PPIII, LT4 KM, 160 Stat. And yes , I have a 97 Formula WS6.

From: Gainesville, Florida # of drag strips runs: ?!?!?
13.70s at 101 mph with your 60 foot times is about right. M6 or auto? I'd say you're doing good for the stuff you have and if that's a summertime air pass, there's a few tenths left in it with cooler air.
