Default are autolite 103's killing me NA?

trying to figure out why I am so slow compared to other cars with same mods.(sig below) I may be a little heavy too, 99SS no t-tops but other than that fully optioned, heavy zr1's. only thing taken out was spare and jack. I run 11.9-12.0@111-112 on nitos(315 on 11"chrome zr1's)1.68 60'

several stock internal cars run the same I do...could it be plugs? I do run n2o some. any other ideas?

It's not the plugs so long as they're in good shape (although I like TR-6s better for a nitrous plug.)

Have you Autotapped? That would be the first place to start.

Fastlif--I have a H/C car just down the road from you in Louisiana--that seems to be a hair slow to me. The best I have run is 11.72 on nittos. The shift points are set 6250 and I am going to raise them to 6600 with rev limiter set at 6800. I car is similar to yours except I have the 3200 vig with stock transmission/transgo shift kit. Two weeks ago on a Saturday I ran times of 11.74, 11.76, and 11.80. I was on a row, but I was in the bracket racing thing and I was chasing ET not win. If I could have run a little latter in the night I believe I would have ran a new best. My car has very little weight reduction and stays basically in street form. It is also a 99SS. I plan on installing Kmember and upper and lower control arms for weight savings trying to improve my sixty foot times---hopefully in the mid 1.5 range. It would be nice if there was a speed shop nearby for advice and assistance in fine tunning the car in my area, but there isn't. I drag race in Monroe occassionally, and maybe someday we can meet at the track and exchange ideas. Anyway, cheers.

thanks guys,

i just got my PCM back from MTI to raise shift points from 6300 to 6500 and a few other things like Torque Management(I hope that was a big part), that should have been done the first time. I hope to have installed tonight and we will see if any better...also went to 3.73 gear. if that doesn't get it I will break down and buy ls1 edit and tune myself.
