Question AC??? Help.

wasnt sure where to post this, and i figured this would be the section for weight reduction.
I know its been talked about befor, but i pulled the ac out of my car. the part that goes into the heater core looks like ****, any way to remove the parts that are sticking out?

what are you talking about, the metal/rubber lines that run from the core to the dryer canister? those should just ubolt off the core if i'm recalling right.

That part (EVAP CORE) is removable, but it's a major pain in the *** to do so. Takes several hours and you have to remove the dash from the interior to get to it.

I covered mine with black rubber boots for now and it doesn't look so bad. Even if you remove the EVAP core it still won't look right.

I found out this weekend the only way is to remove the dash. I'll rip it out when i do my 10pt cage, the dash is coming off then anyway. For now i will have to cover it up.
