<strong>Battery works like a charm. Fired right up. Weight came in around 13.5.
Great mod for the $$$!</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Great! Thanks for being my guinea p....errr, I mean "beta tester". Now I can go ahead and order one. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Couple of questions:
Which place did you order it from? What did you do about Battery terminals? Any fabrication/rigging required?
(BTW...you did a great job on my T-body. It looks great!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
This is a MUCH nicer option than putting the big battery in the trunk. Just the amount of cable you have to add to the car, as well as the shut off switch, battery box, etc... really adds alot of weight and is a pain in the ***!
Jantzer, how did you hook it up (what adapters?)

I already had the terminal adapters from my Odyssey battery and I can't remember where I got them.
I made a hold down with sheetmetal. I cut it out to length to wrap around the battery and drilled a couple holes on the end and installed it in the stock location. You just lay the batter down flat.
I will say it cranks the car over EASY! And I leave the car on a little and cycle the fans/electric waterpump.

Thanks for the info...so you're saying that the battery is lying on it's side? No problems with that?
Also...any chance you could post some pics of your Home-made hold down kit? Just wanna get an idea of what it looks like. Thanks.
