Couple of questions:
Which place did you order it from? What did you do about Battery terminals? Any fabrication/rigging required?
(BTW...you did a great job on my T-body. It looks great!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I just ordered one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
This is a MUCH nicer option than putting the big battery in the trunk. Just the amount of cable you have to add to the car, as well as the shut off switch, battery box, etc... really adds alot of weight and is a pain in the ***!
Jantzer, how did you hook it up (what adapters?)

Please show a picture of your light weight battery and all items you used to install them such as adaptors or riggings of the battery terminals. Your assistance would be greatly appreicated.

Cool!! Sounds very interesting, I would like a part number on the adapters if you have them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'd like the information on the adapters too and what you used for a hold down. I've wanted to do this for a while but didn't want to spend 300 on a dynabat and the custom holddown.

I ordered mine from the first place on that article floating around here about the Hawker vs. Dynabat.
I already had the terminal adapters from my Odyssey battery and I can't remember where I got them.
I made a hold down with sheetmetal. I cut it out to length to wrap around the battery and drilled a couple holes on the end and installed it in the stock location. You just lay the batter down flat.
I will say it cranks the car over EASY! And I leave the car on a little and cycle the fans/electric waterpump.

Thanks for the info...so you're saying that the battery is lying on it's side? No problems with that?
Also...any chance you could post some pics of your Home-made hold down kit? Just wanna get an idea of what it looks like. Thanks.
