Default ET Streets/Hoosiers and 10 bolts...

I'm sure this has been beaten to death here, but I need feedback.

I have an ST3500 and couldn't do much better than a 1.9xx 60ft. on 255 BFG DRs. (14-18psi) Granted, the track prep REALLY sucked and no one was hooking, but my car is going to get faster this summer and VERY fast next summer. No suspension mods presently, but they will come in time.

Let's say with a pulley, lid, Grots dumping straight out, and the ST3500 I should run low low 12s, maybe high 11s with awesome 60s. How long will my rear last hitting those <1.6 short times on ETs or Hoosiers?

If you need clarification, please say so, it may sound confusing at first.

*How long will a stock rear last on ETs or Hoosiers?*
Thanks
Nick

Just dont shock it too hard, and you should be fine only running low 12's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I also have the ST3500 and sticky tires, and I honestly think it will hold me on the spray (~11.2-11.3)

Get a girdle, wheel studs, solid pinion spacer and you're set.

The A4 will help protect your 10 bolt. Many people have went 1.5 60fts without any trouble.

Automatic cars are way easier on the 10bolt than stick cars.I broke mine with ET Steets and a 3k launch.

In a stock 10 bolt with my M6, I've broken two 4.10's.

The first I broke due to excessive highway driving. I was driving over 100 miles a day on the highway for my work commute and it took a year and half before it died.

The second one I blew up two weeks after I got it on one launch on the street at 4,000 rpms with BFG G-Force T/A KDW's.

Now I have a 12 bolt.
