Re: 516rwhp supra, How fast in 1/4? I'll say low 12's real high 11's at 120+ unless the guy is really big into drag racing and has a plan on how to get his 6-sp off hte line with boost or some sort of power (small nos)
A second or so lag in boost is killer...especially since races are are decided in just a few seconds. Not a lot of room for error.
As far as the turbo cars go...they are awesome. I drove an eclipse one time that had been hopped up a little....mid 12 car.....nothing like these supras were talking about...but it was amazing how it just seemed like a regular little car but get into the boost and it REALLY came alive. With a 5 speed it was a blast to drive and i would love to have something similar one day for a daily driver. Lots of fun.
