Default Bracket racing consistency

Want to install a 6.0 in a Vega drag car. A tuner said to leave it fuel injected. My question is fuel injection consistent? Or do you have to write a specific program for car? I am not sure how fuel injection can stay consistent. Run a carbed 6.0 in a Camaro now and after time trials put dial on window and car runs same numbers all day.

My ls1 does pretty good but it seems to get quicker as the night goes on... especially when the weather gets cooler.

As consistent as a carb car on gas. They will both consistently change with weather. Depending on the weather, I can tell you exactly what my car will run before I make a pass.

No maf sensor,no o2 sensors.Your tune will have a VE table(volumetric efficient) that will use the MAP sensor and RPM to put a desired amount of fuel in.You basically take the cars ability to correct itself away.It works.#1 and #6 best package 200 plus cars.

I'm SD tuned. It'll run the number over and over, if the weather stays the same.

With SD tune, your afr is solely based off your VE table with nothing adjusting it. As weather changes, you'll predictably go up and down with the weather. Of course everything you do has an effect on your ET; Burnout length, bump in, launch rpm, etc.

I have not switched my tune for 2 years ,same tune spring, summer and fall 45* to 90*.There are a few more tables that would need to be zeroed out.
