Default Do I need to balance my Slicks?

What do you think? I have wheel screws in them but the shop did not blance them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Hell, My Goodyears were balanced but the wieghts come off one side 2nd time out.(I ran them like this for 70 passes) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

What do you think? I will be racing Saturday and Sunday. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

PS. Yes the weights were taped on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

yes, I would ballance them. Get them to use the stick on weights on the inside then you can put duct tape over them to make sure they don't come off. Its an old drag racers trick..but you already know that. The side weights seem to have trouble with the flexing sidewall from what I have seen. Some people get away with it but I prefer the inside stickon solution. That is if you ls1 guys have the brake clearance for the stick ons.

Tim,

Yes, that is the way that I always have them balanced. I was just wondering what yall do. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I will take them today to get balanced. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Thanks,
Coach

No balance, and not tubes. After a few good burnouts, the balance will be AFU'd anyways.

Dont balance them until u do a couple of good burnouts and some passes at the track.

Then take them off the car and balance them
They will be perfect after that.

Thanks, Guys. <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

I can't wait until the morning. Racing Saturday and Sunday. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

I did have them balanced today but I will have them rebalanced after this weekend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Good luck this weekend! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
