Default Help with 60ft times

I can`tfigure what I`m doing wroung. You can see in Sig I`ve got BMR TRQ-arm, lower control, Pan, sub frames. Relocation brackets with 26x11.5x15 ET`s. Before the relocation brackets I cut 1.6 60ft`s with lots of wheel hop. Now that madman put the relocation brackets on and degreedthe TRQ-arm I went back and couldn`t cut but 1.9-2.0 60ft. I know with the X1cam my Vig 3200 is alitlle low, but I spray also! Do I need to go ta a Drag tire! You would think the ET`s would stick!! I went to 11psi on tires, maybe thats to low? Any help would be thankful! Check Sig for everything. My best time until sat night was 7.01 with 1.64 60ft. Sat night I was running 7.4 with 2.0 60ft. I was going crazy that night. Help me!!!!

yeah, 11 psi is pretty low. what track are you running at? I would step up to at least a 3800 stall, that would work with the nitrous (not a Vig), and maybe some ET Drags would help too. I can't really explain the relocation bracket problem though, sorry.

But if you don't mind me asking, why are your N/A rwtq numbers so low??

thanks! We even put a new poly trans mount and the car feels like it hooks better. On the street like a rock! I will give him a call. I want to try 1 more time and run about 13-15 psi on my tires and see what happens. There is no wheel hop at all now!!

This was at Angelton Dragway, I thought the track was alittle slippery but my friends rides where hooking good!

I was also having a little problem that night hooking up @ Angleton Dragway. I was cutting low 1.60's 60fts in San Antonio and was only cutting a 1.77 60ft then a 1.67 60ft at Angleton. It was a hot and humid night and that could have been the problem.

Hey, come out to HRP Saturday and run TNT. The track prep is always good on our bracket nights. I will be more than happy to help ya out.

Check your pinion angle on your tq arm.

I believe madman set it at -2 degrees BMR TRQ-arm. Like I said no wheel hop now with the relocation brackets. Car feels good? Just doesn`t show it!!!!

Badboy what psi do you run your tires? Just curious!!

They where set a 12psi and the tq arm angle at -3.5 and one thing i would recomend you do, that helped me, is some drag shocks. I went with QA1's all the way around. To start with it would be good to put the front 2 with some drag springs. Your pinion angle is set up good, but by setting it at -2 your rearend is wanting to plant down and in order to do so you will need to transfer the weight to the bach tires quick. It seems like your car is not transfering weight quick enough to hook at that pinion angle. That is what I learned from my experience.

I beleive I had the tire psi to low. After checking the tires at the end of the night the pressure was 9.5 to low for me. I`m going to give it a try with 13-15 psi and see what happens. One thing about a Vig is its hard and tight!! Really on spray. Next on my list is some shocks!
