Put your helmet on after you’re sitting in the car?

well that's the problem when i have my helmet on a
sitting i have to keep my head tilted sideways. i guess this is there new design for more adjustability but they cant be adjusted anyway that is comfortable 😂😂😂. I would not recommend these brackets to anyone who is running a 8.50 cage... Period.

I cut my racecraft brackets and welded them back up shortening them as much as possible. then I moved the whole seat over 3/4" toward the center console. only way I fit with my helmet. can only fit maybe a 1/4" sheet of cardboard between the bar and my helmet now. if I turn my head i'm still bumping into the bar. problems of a 6ft+ driver in a T-top F-body....

Take the brackets off, use the 2 back studs to mount the seat directly to the floor, couple washers on the studs and get a flat style but so they don’t dig into your ***.

support the back of the seat on the cage properly and go man go.

Fwiw I did this and I’m 6’2 250 and have plenty of room even with a 25.3 in my car
