Threw together a little dome top ls1 with gen 4 rods, tea cnc'd 243's, and a btr 235/242 .620 111lsa, with a 4,200 stall converter in it. Badass little shop truck to beat around town in.

Almost unreal how just lowering it + those wheels and removing the door molding and rear bumper made it look so much better.

Picked up a chiseled 3,000 like I had on the camaro. Decided the other one was a little too large for a street cruiser lol

I had quite the dillema. They made those valves wrong. So I had to improvise. HAd to try a few things but made a combo work without having to pull the heads off.
Had to change retainers, shims, and retainer locks but I was able to move the valve down. What a ******* pain in the ***.

They didnt take into account the lash cap needing to clear the lock. so it left me with .052 of tip protruding.
HAd to move everyting down and trim the lash cap .010 but I made it happen.

But I did set it in there just to see what Itd look like! I have been busier with work then I ever have been because of this BS corona going on. I am finishing up a turbo trans am, doing a couple dod deletes, a couple f body cams, and a half dozen engines to assemble. Then I think Ill take a few weeks off and get something accomplished. I figured I better make the money while I can in case **** gets worse out here.

Looking good man. It looks easier to work on than a 4th gen.

Its a tough call. The engine fits like **** right now lol.
I had to take the rack off to get it in. Needs a little cut/welding on the k member to fit well.

Love this car. Looks killer you are doing outstanding work. If you ever decide to go to a different chassis let me know. I'd love to have this one.
