Removing passanger seat

Removing passanger seat I'm going to try to remove my passanger seat and carpet pretty soon so I wont have to take my friends home from school and for the weight reduction. My question is: how do i take out the passanger seat ( what tools etc..) and if I take the carpet out, can i put it back in sometime in the future without a hassle? Thanx alot.

More uncomfortable room. It worked when I had my back seats out, so I'm sure it would work with the passangers seat. Who would want to ride in my car with no seats and no carpet? Oh and BTW, I'm trying to hit 11's stock internals. So every little bit of weight reduction helps.
Unless you REALLY hate giving your friends a ride, I would leave the seat in. I hope your girlfriend/date enjoys sitting on the floor. I used to take mine out and it is a pain in the *** to have to put it back in every time I came back from the track. You won't notice any difference having the seat out in your ET's. That seat is the difference between a 1000' DA and a 1100' DA.
Hitting 11s SI isn't hard. You just have to hook and be fairly light. There's no need to delete the passenger seat. Pull the HVAC or something that you don't ever use. People look in and see 1 seat. It's a racecar. Plus, girls don't like the hot floor once the carpet is out. HA!
