FMS 346ci N/A Record 10.16 @ 132 MPH !!!
Our local outlaw race from last night got rained out (was supposed to race last night) so they re-ran it tonite with the Saturday night test and tune. I have been struggling lately with my SLP Ported MAF. I keep throwing the infamous P0101 code and the car goes into speed density mode and runs pig rich, I ATAP'd my AFR when that happens and it was reading 10.5:1. I was using about 1.25 gallons per quarter mile run LOL. I went through 8 gallons of gas in 5 passes tonite because the car was running so rich. Basically I will be shopping for a new MAF.
Anyway when the MAF bugged out on me the the car was running high 10.3x and low 10.4x but there was 2 passes tonite where the MAF seemed to work ok and the AFR stayed right at 13.8 AFR. One run I went a 10.26 @ 131 MPH.
Then during a heads up race against a wicked Z28 (Mechman) him with a 200 shot vs me all motor, everything held together for one sweet pass. So here ya go:
60'= 1.42
330'= 4.176
1/8= 6.477
MPH= 106.82
1000'= 8.473
1/4= 10.169
MPH= 132.56
10.16 @ 132 MPH !!
Woot ! The 346ci all motor record torch has been passed again!!
I know the car has more in her too, hell the DA tonite was over 2000 down here in South Florida. I cannot wait to get this damn MAF **** fixed and get back on my quest for the 9's.
I'll post a copy of the time slip and I have video of the pass I'll post a little later today, its 3:45am and I just got home from the track, gotta hit the sack!
Lee
PS: My race weight was 3280 lbs all night.
EDIT:
Here is a video of the run: 10.16 @ 132 MPH Video
