How to launch??????
The key is to avoid and jerks or jolts when letting out the clutch. This will break the tires loose and then its all over. Also, you have to be carefull not to slip the clutch too much or else it will get hot and not grab. I got another 2.1 60 ft time this way and the clutch slipped up to 5000 rpms before it grabbed. That was bad for the clutch and didnt give me a better 60ft. If I would have let out the clutch a little more aggressively it wouldnt have slipped so much and probably gotten a better short time.
Also make sure that when launching you are not starting with the clutch pressed to the floor. Let it up a bit until you feel it start to grab and then push it in a little bit. When slipping the clutch it is not necessary to have it floored. More like half throttle and then you ease into it as the weight transfers. Try practicing slipping the clutch at 1000rpms and then 2000s and keep moving up until you get the launch you want. The key is to launch hard and aggressive while still being smooth at the same time. All it takes is practice and sticky track. Remember when practicing on the street concrete hooks better than asphalt. This would be a way to practice in different conditions.
I know my 2.1 short time hardly makes me an expert . It was my one and only time at the track so I think I am heading in the right direction.
Another important thing is to make sure you are heating up your nittos correctly. The word on the street is they like heat and around 20psi.

Your Z06 clutch won't take a shitload of 4500 launches before the hyd overheat. Before each pass, pust clutch to the floor 6-10 times slowly to cool the slave cylinder.
IMO...
I put them at 22 psi, do a good proper burnout, linelock is very handy...
I hold rpms at 3000-3500 rpms and let out the clutch and don't slip it. Don't hotlap it.
