hopefully someone replies this time i had posted a question before about the fitment of a 295 65 15 drag radial tire on a 15x8 pro star rim. is this possible? has anyone done this before??

A 295 tire is right around 11-11.5" wide with a 10-10.5" wide tread width. Everything I have read says to keep the treadwidth within a 1/2 inch of the rim width. An tire with 8 1/2" tread width is about as large as you want to go on an 8" rim. You could probably get away with 9", but that would be pushing it a bit.
