That time of year looks to be pretty busy already race schedule-wise, and that's a heck of a tow for me...
I want to attend, but haven't made up my mind one way or the other yet... I don't know if I would try one of the classes or just bracket race. Modified Stock Auto seems like the logical class for my car, but I honestly don't know if I can find enough weight to make the car 3500lbs. or not.

The cool weather that time of the year and being at sea leve should be condusive to a naturally asperated record.

Im still pretty far out and even when i get it done need license runs and more safety items which I have not purchased and will not have the $$ for before the race rolls around.
Not to say I wont find some extra $$ laying around between now and then which would help.
Im trying to make it.
PaiN is also making the trip. We are working on Raughammer. I figure a ton of Houston area guys will be there. This is THE event everyone has been gearing up for, this year.
Next season you need to have a 3500 lb big-motor class for the street cars with cubes. Not every 400+ci car is a gutted trailer queen

Anyone else see that Vince McCauley is registered?? I thought he was running a carb on his car?
I'm steering myself towards the Pro Stock class .
I think the Modified Stock Automatic Transmission Class should have been <362ci like I had for NFRA. <400ci is going to make it a 372-393ci stroker class for sure. Any 350 what was .060 over is a rebuild but not a full on stroker.
I've been shooting for 3400 raceweight but I guess I will strip the car more and run collector mufflers.
