Got my old ptc 9.5" low stall converter back. thing was awesome(definitely spragless this time) been stacking some little stuff here and there. Waiting on the rear axle and I think I might be able to throw a steel jig together and get to work on it!

Ive never had two to compare back to back. Difference for me was I deal with callies a lot and am good friends with a couple guys there. So they made me a decent deal. I figured it has to be stronger than the cast dart Ive been running!

All I wanted to do was run 8's. Did that a little too easy. Then just fell into the 7's. Then had to work from the 7's to the 6's for a couple straight years.
Really wasnt hard, just took money.
So many people talked down to my foxbody. I lost to quite a few guys with way more serious combos to where I felt good about being almost on their level. So it was always getting compared to methanol, lexan, fiberglass blah blah. I chose to keep it ethanol, power windows, all steel(other than hood and trunk etc) so its not an excuse. But I figured why not build a straight race car to compete with straight race cars so they can see what my dumbass can do!
I was going to quit when I ran 6's but I know what I can do with a chassis that is 600 pounds less. Even if it made the same power. I figured Id give it one last shot.

Been following along for a while now and you never disappoint! I know how it feels to want to work on your own, I haven't had a chance to touch my pile of bolts other than backing it out of the garage once since June when we had our first son. Guess it could be worse, ha!
