Default 3rd gen 25.2 looking for a 3 second 1/8th hydraulic roller 388

As many of you know. I sold the Calypso Fox body. I wish i didnt have to but had t grow into a larger building for my business and it was the largest portion of the down payment. So anyways, sacrafices were made. Sold my entire racing outfit and decided to take a year off. I priced up another 4th gen for cheap but after adding things up i wasnt going to make any progress anytime soon. I stumbled across a brother in law that started on a 3rd gen chassis and I mentioned buying it from him as I love 3rd gens. Who dosent?
Anyways a few months back and fourth and he made me a deal I couldnt pass up as he started a project that was going to take years. I still plan on taking this year off(2022) to recoupe some money and build back up. But I will work on getting this thing to be a roller and ready for a drivetrain over the summer. have a ton of spare parts and some help here and there so shouldnt be hard. Im aiming to make this thing about 2,200 race weight(needing weight may change that) So we shall see!

My first Methanol race car though and Im excited as hell! Youll definitely want to tune into this one!

Now, this is gonna be a pretty serious build.

Of course, the previous ones were pretty serious too, but this one is next level ****.

Best of success! I’ll be watching the YouTubes for updates.

Nice third gen! I'm partial to them, following on FB too. They make great looking race cars hammered tot he ground. Mine is older, but RED! haha. A little more portly too, but mostly a stock back half car. Good luck with the new build!

Talk to Mike Lough on the motor. He can make it happen at that weight for sure. He can make you damn reliable combo with a hydraulic roller.

I'm looking at getting a third gen when I get back to the states later this month. I found a white one for sale in Colorado, hopefully it's still there when I get back.

Looks nice Kenny. Will the car flip back and forth 'tween 28s and big tires?

I will likely keep it on a 28" the guy that did the body work and made the fiberglass parts made it to fit a huge tire out back. I doubt I ever will but I suppose the option is there.

Keeping an eye on this, you plan on kicking up the halo further into the roof? Just curious.
